Kristi A. Finnan is a certified social worker who brings an energetic and optimistic approach to the therapeutic process by giving hope to each client she counsels. Her previous clinical experience includes working in the Inpatient Behavioral Health unit at St. Mary’s hospital in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, where she teamed up with clinicians that provided psychiatric assessment and care to patients displaying acute psychological distress.
Kristi enjoys working with adolescents, individuals, couples, and senior citizens. She is particularly fond of working with women at various stages of their lives. Her experience in community mental health, private practice, and in-home family therapy spans across a diverse population.
Kristi has also served as an on-call emergency screener, providing acute crisis assessment and emergency intervention. Northern Illinois University is where Kristi earned both her bachelor of arts and master of science degrees.
