Alexander Herrera graduated from Northern Illinois University with a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy. His experience includes working in the community mental health system at Ben Gordon Center in DeKalb, Illinois, as a marriage and family therapist where he conducted assessments and provided referrals to community-based resources for his racially diverse clientele.
Alexander delivers an empathetic approach to the therapeutic process, supporting the client through the many complex emotions that he or she may be feeling. He uses a systematic approach to help identify dysfunctional patterns in one’s family so that he can address them professionally.
Our experienced, licensed staff is dedicated to providing professional care with compassion. Our therapists use a holistic approach to healing in a safe, comfortable environment. While each member of our staff brings his or her own personal technique to counseling, patients can be sure they’re in good hands. At Magnolia Mental Health, we make every effort to match each patient with the therapist whose experience aligns with the individual’s needs.
